Information you give us

Our contact form asks for your name, phone number, email address, vehicle preferences and message. Our vehicle valuation form also asks for the vehicle details you enter, such as registration, make, model, mileage and condition. Please do not send payment card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information through these forms.

Why we use it

We use the information to answer your enquiry, discuss a vehicle or prepare a valuation. Where you ask us about a possible purchase or sale, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For other enquiries, our legitimate interest is responding to people who contact our business (Article 6(1)(f)). We also have a legitimate interest in keeping this website secure and working.

Providing details is voluntary, but without contact details or relevant vehicle information we may not be able to respond or provide a valuation. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing.

Who receives the information

Form submissions are sent through Web3Forms, operated by Web3Creative, to hello@bespokecarbuyer.co.uk, hosted by IONOS. Web3Forms processes the submitted fields and technical information, including IP address and timestamp, to deliver and protect the service. Its Data Processing Agreement and privacy policy describe its processing and subprocessors. Cloudflare hosts this website and processes technical request information for delivery and security.

Web3Creative operates from India and uses global infrastructure and spam-prevention providers. Its DPA incorporates Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum for relevant transfers outside the UK. How long information is kept

Web3Forms' DPA states that submission data has a physical retention period of three years; the period visible in its dashboard can differ by plan. Copies delivered to our mailbox are separate. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, any resulting business and relevant legal or dispute requirements, then delete information no longer needed. Contact us to ask about or request deletion of a particular enquiry.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Email hello@bespokecarbuyer.co.uk to make a request. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law.

Maps, links and automated tools

Google Maps loads only if you choose to load it. Google may then receive technical information and use cookies under its own terms. Links to Cazoo, Google reviews and Autotrader take you to separate websites with their own privacy policies. We do not control their data practices. The finance calculator runs in your browser; using it does not submit a finance application. This website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
